Kristian E. Ziegler is an associate attorney with Heslin Rothenberg Farley & Mesiti P.C.  Mr. Ziegler's intellectual property law practice includes all aspects of patent, trademark and copyright law but is primarily directed to patent prosecution.  His experience includes patent preparation and prosecution in the mechanical, medical device, business method and electrical arts; conducting patent searches and drafting clearance and patentability opinions; trademark and copyright preparation and prosecution; assisting in patent, trademark and copyright litigation; and, advising clients on issues of intellectual property law.  Mr. Ziegler is a member of the firm’s Mechanical, and Medical Products & Technology practice groups.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Ziegler worked in the intellectual property practice group at McCarter & English, LLP in Connecticut.  Mr. Ziegler received his Juris Doctor from Pace School of Law in White Plains, New York. While attending law school, Mr. Ziegler interned at IBM in the Sales and Distribution Legal Department.
Mr. Ziegler received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.

Mr. Ziegler is a member of the New York and New Jersey State Bars, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.  He is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
