Alana M.Fuierer’s practice includes patent, copyright and trademark litigation, as well as preparation of prosecution of patents, and has experience in the areas of bioremediation, environmental microbiology, hydrology, and contaminant transport. Ms. Fuierer is a Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the firm’s Cleantech Group, which has gained national recognition for the firm. In 2008, Ms. Fuierer was awarded the 2008 Up and Coming Business Leaders Award by the Rochester Women’s Network. She is admitted to practice in New York, U.S. District Courts for New York’s Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts, the Second Circuit and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Ms. Fuierer was previously a staff attorney with the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.She graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She received a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Geneseo, and a Master's degree in Hydrology from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Email:
