Heslin Rothenberg Farley & Mesiti P.C. is pleased to announce that Alana M. Fuierer, Esq. has been awarded the 2008 Up and Coming Business Leaders Award by the Rochester Women’s Network. Alana is the firm’s resident attorney in its Rochester office, where she focuses on patent, copyright and trademark litigation as well as preparation and prosecution of patents. Alana graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctorate from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Geneseo, and a Master’s degree in Hydrology from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. The Rochester Women’s Network Business Leaders Award winners are chosen by a panel of community leaders. Recipients must be working full-time in their current career field fewer than 10 years, must successfully demonstrate their professional influence in their field through numerous accomplishments, must have achieved career growth and advancement, demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative thinkers, and shown initiative at work and in the community. Fifteen area business women will be honored during the Rochester Women’s Network annual conference May 2 at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center.
