Overview
Katelin J. Schaub (“Katie”) is a registered patent agent who practices primarily in the firm’s Mechanical practice group.
She has also assisted practitioners with trademark and patent prosecution, IP litigation, licensing, and due diligence. Her experience also includes IP asset transfers, such as trademark and copyright assignments and domain name transfers.
Before joining HRFM, Katie worked as a senior research associate at the New York State Science & Technology Law Center. There, she helped individuals and startups navigate the intellectual property aspects of technology commercialization.
Katie has earned her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law and has a Bachelor of Arts in engineering science and economics from the University of Rochester.
She is a registered patent agent with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Katie has successfully passed the New York Bar exam and is pending admission to the New York State Bar.
In her free time, Katie enjoys ballet, ice skating and Dungeons & Dragons sessions.
