Matt Hulihan practices primarily, though not exclusively, patent and trademark prosecution. His client base spans from some of the largest multi-national corporations to sole proprietors. His work in the patent space utilizes his computer hardware/software and technology expertise, covering a wide range of technologies including highly technical areas in the computer and Internet realms. Example technologies include trusted computing, virtual environments, artificial intelligence and cognitive systems, web security, large-scale database management, mobile applications and security, and system and instruction set architectures.

Matt was rated a SuperLawyer by Thomson Reuters in 2022, being named to its Rising Stars list for Upstate New York.
