Attorneys

Jake is an attorney with experience in patent prosecution, copyrights, startup counseling and technology transfer. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Syracuse University College of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the Syracuse University College of Arts and Sciences. Jake is registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is admitted to practice law in New York.

Prior to joining HRFM, Jake was a Senior Research Associate at the Innovation Law Center of Syracuse University, where he assisted individuals and startups with the IP-side of technology commercialization. Jake also spent time working with the Syracuse University Office of Technology Transfer processing various university-created IP. While studying biology, Jake was a lab assistant at the Center for Reproductive Evolution.

Jake’s primary interests include basketball and animals.
